Alix Wells, Fraser Site

Read More | No Comments

Hailing from Prince George, Alix landed a job at the local casino. Her love for risk and the gambling lifestyle led her to roll the dice. Hurling her body down steep slopes catapulted her to Alaska for her undergraduate degree, while competing in NCAA downhill ski racing. Alix’s blatant disregard for her body led to much time spent in emergency departments. Miraculously, with all her appendages intact, and having survived the Alaska winters, she returned home for medical school. Embracing the chaos of her early years, she opted for a career in emergency medicine, although she has decided to warm up and move to the milder climate of the Lower Mainland. With her knack for seeking adventure, she’s sure to be kept on her toes in the ER.
