Introducing Bronwyn, a Wild West spirit, hailing from the heart of Grande Prairie Alberta. She’s our very own horse whisperer, often spotted turning barrels or trotting trails with her four-hooved friends. Her knack for detecting an S4 gallop on precordial exam is second to none, thanks to that horse girl intuition.

Bronwyn loves a good hike in the city or the mountains. Whether it be walking back to Mount Pleasant from UBC shifts or conquering the Chilkoot trail in a single day, it’s not surprising that her love of the great outdoors led her to an interest in Remote and Wilderness medicine.

Bronwyn also loves to hype up her colleagues and co-residents. She doubles as the leader of our resident dance troupe, utilizing her cheerleading expertise to lift spirits in the resus bay.  You also can always count on her to bring cheesy goodness to our outings, making her an essential part of any gathering – we call her “Charcutie” for a reason. When she’s not in the hospital or research lab, you’ll probably find her somewhere in the back country of Rogers Pass. She’s the embodiment of chaotic but compassionate energy, spreading her zest for life wherever she goes.
