Ian Cooper, Fraser Site

Read More | No Comments

Born and raised in Edmonton, Ian has spent much of his life running away from Alberta, and then being drawn back. This yo-yo relationship has led him to have completed degrees from three Canadian Universities and having attended a few more than that. Mostly, he has just been looking for any excuse to play volleyball that entire time. Somehow, between volleyball games he completed a Master’s degree in cardiovascular exercise physiology. Following which, he promptly left the country for a year and then, on return, joined the film industry in Vancouver. He made his way back to medical school in Calgary and is stoked to have yo-yo’d his way back to the Lower Mainland. Behind his giant stature, and sometimes grumpy facade, he is a giant teddy bear.
