Andrew hails from “far away” Coquitlam, BC, where he grew up with the dream of moving to the big city. From SFU for undergrad, he made it to Vancouver for med school and residency, all before taking his training wheels off. He may be our youngest R1, but he knows what he wants. He was the only one of us to choose emergency medicine as far back as first year. In fact, rumour has it his first words were “let’s intubate”, and the only letters of the alphabet he’s learned are C and T. Between shifts, you can find him working on his show muscles in the gym or setting off on his next backcountry adventure. With a smile so bright you need sunglasses, this former crisis line worker is equipped for anything that comes his way in the ED.
