Brendan Lee, Vancouver Site

Brendan is the only flat-lander to make his way to the VGH crew all the way from Saskatchewan. As a born and bred prairie boy, he is enjoying experiencing a new province and taking advantage of all that beautiful B.C. has to offer. Although he drinks cool local craft beer while he is out with his co-residents, we suspect that he still has a fridge full of Molson Pilsner in his apartment. Brendan is always up for anything and loves to cook and enjoy good food with friends, especially on the beach with his portable barbecue.

He has a love for basketball and co-founded a non-profit organization with his brother called Buckets & Borders that works to improve communities through basketball. You can find Brendan lacing up the sneakers at Mount Pleasant Park and Kitsilano beach.

Having completed ED exchanges in Central and South America, Brendan speaks fluent Spanish and has developed a passion for Global Health and hopes to incorporate international opportunities and initiatives into his residency. Despite spending time traveling throughout Latin America and proclaiming that he likes to dance salsa, it has become clear early on that Brendan is a terrible dancer. Brendan couldn’t be happier to be in Vancouver and looks forward to the incredible journey ahead.
