Daria Hutchinson, Interior Site

Born and raised in the small coastal town of Tsawwassen, BC, Daria always knew she wanted to broaden her horizons and see the wide world beyond the ferry terminal. Following trips to Central America, South America, and Africa, she completed a degree in nutritional sciences and spent several years working in a diabetes research lab, presumably researching diabetes.

A love of biology and a famously iron stomach prompted Daria to pursue a career in medicine, where she was voted “most likely to be a double agent” by her Kelowna graduating class. She has many formidable claims to fame including the worst sense of direction you’ll ever come across, and the impressive ability to eat her own weight in sushi. Some of her favourite things in life are pasta, dogs, running, and video games, in no specific order.
