Hanna joins an elite crew of UBC lifers, having completed her undergraduate and medical degrees in Vancouver before joining the Vancouver emergency medicine residency program. She is drawn to the acuity, diversity and procedural components of emergency medicine, and has a particular interest in point-of-care ultrasound.
As a dual citizen of the United Kingdom and Canada, Hanna can often be found traveling England to visit family and friends during her time off, which certainly explains her passion for anything and everything related to soccer. If you ever see Hanna around the emergency department, be sure to ask her how many times England’s national soccer teams have made her cry.
Her other interests include exploring Vancouver’s food and drink scene, adding to her ever-expanding shoe collection, and (attempting to) golf and snowboard.
Hanna is beyond thrilled to be part of the UBC Emergency Medicine family and looks forward to the growth, challenges and good times that residency has to offer.
