Kerry was born in Northern Ireland, where she lived until emigrating to Victoria, BC, at the age of 4. During her youth she developed a strong passion for the outdoors. She spent her winter weekends ski racing for Whistler, and in the summer months running track and cross country. She went on to pursue triathlon at a professional level, representing both Canada and Northern Ireland on the World Cup circuit. Kerry completed her Medical Degree at the University of Alberta, where she had nothing but a positive experience and met some of her best friends. Passionate about emergency medicine, Kerry was very excited to match to residency in Kelowna with the opportunity to carve out her career path in her BC homeland (with quick access to some of the best skiing on the west coast!!). In her free time, you’ll find Kerry road biking through the winding vineyards, ski touring, wine tasting, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
