Tracy Huynh, Vancouver Site

Tracy was born and raised in the beautiful city of Surrey, BC. She went to Simon Fraser University and never finished her degree in Molecular Biology & Biochemistry because she did too many co-op terms and the courses were too detail-heavy for her tiny brain. She did, however, start a hiking club at SFU after falling in love with the mountains and the lakes in our beautiful province growing up.

Tracy is so grateful and thrilled to be joining the UBC EM family, being able to stay close to home with her loved ones and her favourite mountains. She hopes to one day pursue further training in either Disaster Medicine, Wilderness Medicine, or Geriatric Emergency Medicine. Probably not Pediatric EM because children can be scary.

Outside of work, you can catch Tracy hiking in the backcountry, snowboarding at Cypress, paddleboarding at Alouette Lake, or cuddling her two fur babies. She loves her UBC EM famjam and can’t wait for all the memories and adventures the next five years will bring!
